GalvBar is used to repair and maintain galvanized surfaces as well as filling, sealing and build-up on steels, cast iron, copper and other surfaces. Often found used where large units or structures can not be moved for repair of loss of protection. The surface should be cleaned and free of any matter that may affect the bonding process. Heat the part or surface to the needed temperature so the base metal melts the bar not the torch. Tin or rub the bar on the surface allowing the base metal to conduct the needed heat that will melt the alloy.
